My Daily Routine to Study Korean Language

  • Learn chapter by chapter from TTMIK and listen to the audio
I do some note taking while learning the language. Listening to the audio and it out loud for the words. Immerse yourself with language without giving yourself too much stress on correct pronunciation. Korean don’t speak each of the word clearly and exactly.
  • Do exercises on TTMIK workbook and listen to the audio
To test my understanding regarding the language, I try to answer the exercises in the workbook. Making mistakes is not an obstacle to stop me from continuing to learn the language. In fact, it motivates me to work harder to master it and realizes the mistakes that I shouldn’t have made.
  •  Learn new vocabulary
I have subscribed Koreanclass101.com which send me a new vocabulary daily. I also learn from their vocabulary sheet on Instagram/Facebook. I learn to write the words many times so that I can memorize and be familiar with the words.
  • Watch Korean drama/movie
When I am bored with the studying, I usually will watch the Korean drama for entertainment purpose and at the same time listen to how they speak. You will amaze that without knowing the word, you will be able to guest what they say.
  • Listen to Korean song
I listen and sing along with the song without understanding the meaning of the word. I guess that this is one of the ways to learn how to speak via lyrics with confident.
  • Watch Youtube videos
I love the fact that TTMIK conducted some useful videos to clear the doubts of the students. They pointed out the common mistakes that we used to make. From there, we are able to prevent ourselves from making unnecessary mistakes.
  • Flash card & Notebook
I usually use notebook to make some notes on the grammar and flashcard for new vocabulary. I can learn Korean language anywhere anytime that I want.
